Thanks Bro for the nice read .
I am facing clunk and thud sound coming from the transfer case and rear diff at low rpm when lifting and stepping on gas pedal .

In Singapore , we can open up but there is no spare parts available like seals and bearings repair kit .

I came across Jack's Transmission in the US .
http://www.jackstransmissions.com/pages ... s-upgrades
http://www.jackstransmissions.com/pages/evo-selection

But shipping my transfer case and rear diff to the US and back for investigative repair will be expensive and with long down time .

Just wanna know if any other EVO bros are facing the same issues ?

If we have more than 5 cars , we can ask SSP / Jacks Transmission if they are interested to make a trip down to Singapore . Just like what SSP did last month in GR / Uber / ST .

Anyone ?

IRC, Jack's transmission is a one man show & he's always busy at the shop
U can try asking to supply a used but refurbished core with his magical touch
I've asked for a upgraded manual gearbox before with no core exchange
Price is reasonable

Came back after I upped the power with V-pro .
SSP Kris pinpointed the transfer case tail which connects to the drive shaft . Should be seals and bearings worn out . Damn irritating.

Jacks Trans does clean up and replace seals and bearings for Stage 0 package US$450 only .
How I wish there is a workshop in Singapore that can do this .

Was quoted $3500 for a JB used scrapeyard transfer case . Stupid price !

Must well pay US$3000 for the Jacks Trans Stage 3 "indestructible" rebuilt !

I have asked SSP Kris to try squeezing Jack inside his luggage and plan a trip to Singapore .

Gangnam SSP special offer Style !! LOL !

Thanks bro , as always for your great info.

As per my above reply to Mike , I've asked SSP Kris if he can kidnap Jack and squeeze him inside a luggage , bring him to Singapore and do a rebuilt/upgrade SSP Gangnam offer Style .

Just wondering if I am the only one in Singapore that faces this irritating clink clank thud sounds due to bearing and seals worn out for transfer case / rear diff ?

Majority of the EVO X in Singapore was registered in 2008. Should be due for a seal and bearing upgrade !
Your manual gearbox price quoted is how much ?
Any idea how much a new transfer case from C&C or stockist will cost ?
