1stly, I hope I didn't post at the wrong forum.

Seems like I will be staying in a tropical getaway Island for a while, so I may be consider a used evo for a couple or so years.

I seen this ride which looks good (low mileage), reasonable good price, any bros have any idea of the history of the car? Worth it?

http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=74174&DL=1198

Also, what do I need to look out for in a 2nd hand car. SHould I bring a mechanic with me for test drive? If so, any bros got recommendation.

Thanks & Happy CNY.

I went to look at the car. The condition (base on looks) is surprising good for a 3 year old car. The engine bay look very stocky & clean, but maybe he did well with the dekit to stock?

Interior is clean & leather still good.

But it has 3 previous owners...

I do have a noob question. I notice I have to depress the clutch fully when I start the car. Is this normal?

Yes bro, its a safety feature that you have to depress the clutch fully when you start the car... but if you find it a hassle it can be taken off

Thanks bro. :)

I am fine with it. I was only worry that this is due to some fault in the car.

Yes. 3 owners yet only 28k mileage. Looks fishy, I know...

Didn't like the color too, as well as the wheels. Both are no biggy though.

So have you found your ride yet?

I am still waiting for insurance quotes.

Thanks bro. I already picked my ride, only pending paper work & some details. But I am quite interested in the GT wing. Type 5 right, Do you mind sell separately? But I think I better wait until I got my ride before any talks.

A part of me still wish that somehow the deal is off, either loan not approve, or dealer last minute back up, or something. So I have excuse to go on my Grand Euporean tour with the savings. hehe.

MB motor Red GSR. Mild modded & good physical (appearance) condition. Engine bay abit dirty though but stocky looking with only exhuast & intake mod. No demodded done, or so the agent said. Anyway, car is service at his workshop. MB performance I think.

Loan just got approve. Lucky I get it fast from Hoong Leong. Interested rate still at 2.28%. All other banks have increase their interested to 2.68+ (or is it 2.88%) now.

I very Kia See. Even ask them to go for STA inspection. :P

Now they are fixing the main problems as specify by STA. Nothing major though. Only one "C grade": the exhaust is vey loud. :D

Signing paper on Sat. Is there anything I need to know?

Decent price. been tracking the market alot lately. The '05 Evo 9 body ranged from 20k-45k. You got yours at slightly below $30k. I eyed that model too and went down to see the other White wide bodied one. condition was questionable though. Still looking for a good buy. =/

You meant the one with the stickers & Voltex wide body & wing.

A bit too "Loud" & Beng-ish for me lah. Also, I prefer stocky look. Wide body will be harder to manuvue & park, as if the evo already not wide enough.

Good luck for your search bro. :)

Almost all paperwork complete except insurance. Tomorrow going down to settle down-payment.

But I will freeze all insurance sourcing by next Wednesday & submit the best quote.

No MB bro didn't throw in transfer fee or mention it. Didn't know it was so expensive. Damn it. $1333! I thought it was some symbolic sum for 10min of work keying some data into a computer!

I think it cost less to get a lawyer to screw, I mean sue someone. Haha

Its ridiculous!!! No wonder our government so rich, can pay so much to Ministers.
