GT = Grand Touring or Gran Tourismo?
GSR = Grand Sport Racing?
RS = Rally Sport or Racing Stripped?

RS is call the racing specs series is stripped down versions of Evo GT / GSR / MR its the lightest of all the series they have launched. Its mean for serious racer who want to mod his car starting from the bottom up. If I am not mistaken aircon, power window & airbag, Recaro seat is optional.

RS - stripped version of the Evo X that does away with all unnecessary weight by offering air conditioning as its only luxury. The RS comes with no "extra" sound deadening, speakers, radio, power windows, or power door locks etc.

I believe the RS also comes with a lighter frame.. and does away with some of the technology that makes up the S-AWC.

Some are possibly factory options. You can check the catalog to be sure.

The Evo VI Extreme can be picked up for under £25k now. A bargain! Power figures are as follows:

VI Extreme/Zero Fighter : 340bhp : 303lb/ft of torque
VII Extreme : 339bhp : 350lb/ft of torque
VII Extreme S : 357bhp : 383lb/ft of torque
VII Extreme SC : 458bhp [500 is available] : 410lb/ft of torque
VIII Extreme : 337bhp : 320lb/ft of torque

*Zero Fighter was tuned by MMC Japan.

Evolution VII/VIII FQ-300/FQ-330 - UK Models
These are basically slightly tuned GSR models. Some question the price of the FQ models as an upgrade to a GSR model would be cheaper than buying an FQ model.

VII FQ-300 : Exhaust system/filter : 301bhp : 300lb/ft of torque
VIII FQ-300 : Exhaust system/filter : 301bhp : 300lb/ft of torque
VIII FQ-330 : Exhaust system/filter/ECU : 330bhp : 305lb/ft of torque

Evolution VIII MR FQ300/320/340 - UK Models
VIII MR FQ-300 : Base Model: 301bhp : 289lb/ft of torque
VIII MR FQ-300 : Exhaust system/filter : 320bhp : 300lb/ft of torque
VIII MR FQ-340 : Exhaust system/filter/ECU : 340bhp : 320lb/ft of torque

Evolution IX FQ300/320/340/360 - UK Models
IX FQ-300 : Base Model: 301bhp : 289lb/ft of torque
IX FQ-300 : Exhaust system/filter : 320bhp : 300lb/ft of torque
IX FQ-340 : Exhaust system/filter/ECU : 340bhp : 320lb/ft of torque
IX FQ-360 : Exhaust system/filter/ECU : 366bhp : 363lb/ft of torque

you forget to add EVO VIII MR FQ-400

Wow, thanks. The RS lack too much standard options & stuff. I think I stick to the GSR.

Hi,

I saw some GSR stated 300 bhp as facelift model in sgcarmart.

Is there any other difference beside the facelift and the non facelift.

The RS is not intended for use as a daily driver... that's why it lacks alot of stock equipment from the GSR/MR models! It's literally intended for racing only and for the owner to modify it as necessary to make it compliant with requirements.

For those who really want to know more, here is the Australian distributor of the X RS: http://www.tmraustralia.com.au/evoxrs.php

Wow man.. most of the parts they're selling are very overpriced. Ohlins suspension for $16k AUD?? That could net you 3 'normal' Ohlins DFVs I think. :)

Remember that labour is very expensive here, and those guys are the top Mitsubishi racing team in Australia- IIRC their Evo X's came 1st and 2nd on the Bathurst endurance races. Mitsu Australia even formed alliance with them to re-tune cars to 247kW (not a very high power tune; but still better than stock) prior to delivery (and still be covered by full 10 year warranty).
