I seriously do not think the tuner will be available for such chit chat session with us. I also have no doubt on the potential of the CBRD BBK turbo. Our counterparts in the US have achieved great results using it. I shared my views with regard to the dip in the dyno chart with the owner about a week back. I am puzzled by what could have caused it and have asked the owner to check back with the tuner just to be sure. Given that I am not the only person making the observation, it therefore is something which is worth a relook.

Darkevo Bro: Saturdays are usually bad for me as I have much commitments to see to. Let's meet up soon for chats.

Evolve: I share your concerns on the sharing of mods over open forums. There are "members only folders" for which mod details could be safely shared as access to these folders are carefully screened. You may wanna PM me to discuss.

Lmodel: Coffee on Friday evening. Same place.

Hi JudgeJules, Lmodel & Darkevo,

Thanks for your keen interest in this thread. Well, unlike in the U.S where the information are conveniently shared amongst their large enthusiasts community, over here in Singapore as the number of evo owners are limited & the local authorities are reading the exact same thread as you & I, as a businessman am not able to reveal the full specs of my clients details without their prior permission.

Reflashed or ECU remapped = Emission figures possibly under illegal zone for LTA too la :D

Quote:
What I can reveal though is the fact that the previous & current dyno chart results that I have posted are derived from 100% stock evo 9 engines w/o any stroking up or forged internals.

A stock Evo 9 engine claimed to have Ported Head works by Chaser? Hmm....

Why is it so difficult to believe that there is a nicely designed & researched with proven results bolt on turbo that can touch the sacred 500ps mark with basic mods, a good ecu & a reliable tuner?

Dun angry bro, this is forum. It's like that one la.
No one would wish to waste time & jeopardise their factory by manufacturing a turbo that doesn't give results right?
This turbo which you are selling is a good turbo.
The fact that you started this thread by merely to prove a point on genuine result-making turbo caused a backfire is a norm in forum.
Dun get worked up.

As for the questions regarding the dyno curve, transmission loss difference etc, as I am not a qualified tuner by trade, I am unable to accurately reply to your queries for now but I will await for my tuner affiliate to be back in Singapore before responding to you guys, how about that?

Eh... 1 pointer, tuner normally siam this kind of topic bcos it is usually an open-ended one.
Not many could give you an answer on Transmission loss & how is it derived.
For instance... 2 stock standard Evo9 GT with identical parts setup, uses same Tuner, tune on the same day, same fuel type & same dyno. Will they make identical power?
If yes, no one will ask because "it should be". But if not, no one can answer either, including your tuner.
Imagine the 2 owners insist the tuner to make both their cars to produce identical power & torque at the same rpm range...Ha.... It'll be interesting.

But I know a trick...
A stock standard Evo9 from showroom could make a dyno graph to produce 1000hp!!!
Ha...especially on Dynapack. Correction factor set to 4..Ha..

At the end of the day, individuals should take this post as a general idea for the start. The rest will be research & maybe to trust & try it out without regrets.
Don't blame the seller.
Every seller sells best products. That's the way it is.

Like me, as above example, pin pointing sentences leads to no end.
Well, the above comment is meant to entertain, dun take it to heart.

Gong hei fard choy to all.
Happy motoring. :D

EVO 456,

GREAT COMMENT.
Agree with wat u said. a stock engine cant have that much high horsepower. especially with stock injector ( as claimed (stock internal)) an evo 9 GT fitted on another FWD has lower HP. no tuner can ans. When query they only ans, thats the best they can do.

Dun rely on dyno does not give you much reliability. I can make it 600 hp if u like. Nevertheless, turbo with your size will give much power and is a good turbo. Juz that you will get back lash with such impossible reach figure for stock engine.

HKS tuner cant even reach those figure

anyway. Have fun driving
