Hi :) and greetings. I've recently migrated from gti to new Evo X, and seek the members advice of recommended Singapore workshops for serious mods with quality attention to details. Overseas i've run evo 8 with full house mods for road and track including 2.3Ltr stroker kit and 260deg cams etc etc. Hope to get your feedback, and have a good evening ! Thanks Peter

We can't use stroker kits in Singapore, right? Sigh, such a waste... else cosworth 2.2L looks so tempting.. well, that's what we'll hv to live with in Singapore with road tax being tagged to displacement... :(

If you're getting the X, check out the just released GT3240 turbo kit from HKS.
I also understand that F-con can also be used on the X.

Can someone tell me the rough costs for changing all oils (AYC brake etc) & engine oil OWS with filter at Uber for my EVO 7 GTA. Also any contact person & if prior appointment has to be made etc . At the moment I service with GMS but the distance is too far from home.

Thanks.

Have you modded your ride (e.g suspension, fuel pump or anything else in the rear)? If so, best to go back to the workshop that did the mods just in case this noise is related.

hello
i would suggest u pay a visit to Choon's Motorworks
Pro Honda and in case you guys didnt go to the time attack in sepang this year, they won the unlimited class with a evo 9 gt with timing of consistant low 2.16s for several laps!
thats easily the fastest evo lapping in Sepang!
evo specialists or not,i think results meant more than words. :o
just my humble recommendation and views...
quite a few of our evos go to them..
oh and youtube has their incar video of the 2.16 lap...nice!
cheers

Ya, but unlike other mods, where it is easy to go back to stock, this one isn't. Once caught, I believe its not only hard to return to the original displacement, & you could be fine or be charge with cheating (road tax) if I am not mistaken. Not worth the risk lah. Anyway, how fast can you go in Singapore.

hi,
maybe you would like to pay a visit to Chaser's Motorworks at AMK Autopoint.
Boss's friendly and their mechanic is very detailed.

Overall, I would give them a thumbs up. Reasonably priced and good service.
Just my 2cents. :D
